Protecting these networks sounds like a very tough assignment, doesn’t it? It’s actually even tougher when you consider that budget constraints continue to squeeze resources for these critical protections, and the ever-changing alphabet soup of regulations and standards makes true compliance a stressful, if not improbable objective. “We always deliver on-time and within budget, and we come up with comprehensive and innovative solutions to government cyber security challenges,” Gibson says.

While transitioning a major Department of Health and Human Services data warehouse, for example, IT-CNP provided the requisite security services to ensure the system adhered to the Federal government’s rigorous security standards during transition to GovDataHosting Cloud Platform environment. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI) were subsequently evaluated, documented, assessed, authorized, and protected in accordance with FISMA, HHS agency and HIPAA regulations.

Similarly, IT-CNP has transitioned a military customer from a government-operated datacenter to its own cloud infrastructure, while ensuring that the Department of Defense’s challenging and complex compliance requirements were met. According to Gibson, this resulted in an immediate operational enhancement that drastically improved the Service Level Agreement’s turnaround time and facilitated modernization.
