In its early years, GEM focused on providing safeguards and security across DOE facilities nationwide. Over time, the company’s flexibility allowed it to expand to support agencies such as the Department of Justice (DOJ), the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Today, GEM is a preferred contractor for the DOE and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), holding seven critical contracts. This trust is built not just on its legacy but on its ability to evolve with the industry and navigate the shift from traditional security to advanced cybersecurity and IT.
