Endiem has been recognized by CIO Applications Magazine as the exclusive recipient of “Top 10 CPQ Solution Companies - 2019,” based on our proprietary methodology, reflecting its position in the industry, and is also named among “,” reflecting its broader leadership. This profile has been developed by the CIO Applications research and editorial team based on insights from an interview with Geraldine Gray, CEO.
Let’s face it: Implementing CPQ software is easier said than done. The high learning curve, a poor migration/transition plan, limited upsell and cross-sell processes, and flawed workflow automation stands tall in the way of a successful implementation. Above all, what most companies lack is a sophisticated expertise and thorough experience of Quote-to-Cash processes.
With a vision to bridge this knowledge and expertise gap, Geraldine Gray, a Salesforce MVP and CEO of Endiem, aims to assist organizations with their Salesforce solutions. Endiem is a women-owned tech company that designs and builds Salesforce services and supports organizations with technical challenges. The extremely experienced and incredibly competent team at Endiem knows Salesforce like the backs of their hands. From Salesforce strategy to development and implementation, Endiem helps clients to unlock the potential of the Salesforce platform.
In an interview with CIO Applications, Geraldine provides her insights on the company’s value proposition and the services it offers in the market.
Can you provide us with a brief overview of your company and what kind of solutions you deliver?
Endiem is the largest independent Salesforce consultancy in Houston. We are women-owned and operated, and we believe in delivering excellent work through the unmatched industry talent we have in-house - on time, within budget, with flair and a splash of fun.
Endiem has extensive experience in serving industries such as energy, finance, technology, manufacturing, and healthcare, providing the right solution as per their specific needs. In the energy landscape, we use Salesforce to provide data transparency, to streamline sales processes, and to ensure customer relationships are always top-of-mind. We facilitate analysts to track their investments and manage their portfolios in the finance sector. And, while adhering to the strict rules and regulations of data management in the healthcare industry, our Salesforce services assist in tracking the patient journey. Manufacturing companies have so many moving parts on their table, but with our solutions, we help teams to follow up on sales inquiries and empower them with marketing automation and insights into their supply chain. This is significant and relevant for manufacturers as they have vast product lines which must be organized and quoted flawlessly and reps need that data on their phone - not in multiple spreadsheets or their inbox.
Can you outline some of the significant challenges that your customers experience? How is Endiem mitigating those challenges?
Our customers can be classified into two categories: ones who have never used the Salesforce platform and others with an existing Salesforce platform that fails to work and yield the promised results. We are approached to fix the problems pertaining to Salesforce, wherein we address the issue and ensure that problems are fixed once and for all. We always build solutions with an eye to what is coming and to what the consumer might need in the future. With a team of exceptionally experienced and competent Salesforce MVPs, we help clients to first define their business processes and then implement a solution that fits their unique business needs. Post-implementation, we are happy to transfer our knowledge to the customer’s System Admin, and so, we’ve created custom training programs.
No other company offers the rich experience in Salesforce CPQ that Endiem brings to the table
As Houston’s most extensive independent Salesforce implementation and integration partner, we are trusted by some of the world’s largest brands, including Caterpillar, ENGIE, and Salesforce. In an instance, we were approached by a CAT dealer who was using a 35-year old technology to run its business. Despite being incredibly robust, the client’s technology was not mobile and lacked a modern UI, which made collecting or consuming customer data a challenging process. However, Endiem stepped in implemented Salesforce, so that the client was able to quote for an extremely complex machine and deliver that quote to the customer in a matter of minutes. The organization was then able to see their interactions with customers and colleagues across different departments.
How do you keep yourself educated as to what customers might demand?
We deliver client success by aligning their technologies with their business goals and overall IT strategy. The Endiem team ensures that when a new client comes on board, we leverage what already exists and build for success rather than burn an existing solution to the ground.
Endiem also practices the V2MOM methodology which stands for Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles, and Measures to ensure that our vision and values align with the services we deliver to our clients and the culture we wish to work within. Moreover, we set objectives as to how we will continue to provide superlative offerings, and we set measurements with individual tasks to ensure that we deliver what we promise. We value and nurture the wellness of our employees, and so we offer benefits such as Endiem Day of Wellness, Endiem Day of Action and matching donations to groups they are engaged with. Most importantly, we carefully listen to whatever our clients want, we take constructive feedback, and any feedback received is taken on board and is quickly addressed or incorporated in our business.
