Alon Mantsur, CEOProvide an overview of Cybrella
Cybrella is a provider of advanced-level cyber protection solutions for SMBs, large enterprises, and governmental agencies. We are a progressive and innovative third-party cybersecurity company offering client-specific consulting and cutting-edge cyber risk management, cyber training, and holistic cloud security services. The firm is focused on implementing exceptional cybersecurity defense through its variety of services such as cyber risk assessments, penetration testing, red teaming, and code review.
What are some of the prevalent challenges and trends in today's cybersecurity landscape, and how do you use technology to solve them?
Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) often struggle to take a proactive approach to cybersecurity. With limited resources, most companies cannot afford a chief information security officer (CISO) at their offices. Given the complex nature of cybersecurity, SMBs worldwide face challenges in implementing security measures to counter zero-day threats.
Unlike its competitors, Cybrella is fully committed to rescuing SMBs reeling under extreme stress to combat cybersecurity challenges. Through its Advisory CISO as a Service offering, Cybrella provides comprehensive cybersecurity and compliance solutions to its clients, removing this heavy load from their shoulders and allowing them to focus on their core business. The appointed Cybrella CISO is a cybersecurity expert and assumes full charge of the clients' entire security program, from risk management to gap analysis.
At Cybrella, we specialize in providing tailor-made solutions for every client's requirements. We are driven by innovation to create efficient cybersecurity architectures, leveraging futuristic technologies like AI and deep learning to offer better protection to clients against threats.
Elaborate on the various services that you are offering. And how can companies benefit from them?
With an in-depth understanding of the attack landscape, our experts take a hands-on approach to provide end-to-end cybersecurity solutions that are both effective and practical for the organization's needs.
For larger companies, Cybrella also provides an Application Security program.

Another unique offering of the firm is Cybrella Threat Intelligence (CTI). This service provides vital information that enables an organization to defend against current and future cyber events proactively. It gives a broad, intelligent picture of any attackers who may be targeting the organization and provides an overview of the information systems as viewed from outside your network.
Who are your typical clients? How do you identify their requirements and have them execute the problem management needs?
From technology companies to financial institutions, Cybrella caters to a broad range of clients. Understanding that the vast clientele has diverse needs, we start to identify their cybersecurity needs from the pre-sales process. We strive to provide a fool-proof security network infrastructure to protect our clients' sensitive data from hackers.
What keeps you ahead of the pack in the cybersecurity industry?
Our experts, utilizing an in-depth understanding of the attack landscape from an attacker's perspective, take a hands-on approach to provide end-to-end cybersecurity services that are both effective and practical for each organization's unique needs. Cybrella goes a step further than our competitors with our "red teams" that simulate the most sophisticated hackers with malicious intent, identifying vulnerabilities that need to be further protected.
Can you share a customer success story that you've had in the recent past?
Cybrella has worked with a New York-based technology company with 1,000 employees. The company approached Cybrella to perform ethical hacking (penetration tests) on one of the client's applications to ascertain the security measures needed to make it fool-proof. The cybersecurity firm obliged and began penetration tests to pinpoint the security gaps in the application. After the first test, we pointed out the security gaps that need mending to fend off hackers. Impressed with Cybrella's expertise, the client established a contract that ensured Cybrella would conduct all the penetration tests on future applications. Further, the firm started working on code reviews and training developers on how to create an application securely. In another case study, Cybrella worked with an insurance firm where it carried out penetration tests and pinpointed an issue not detected by previous tests. Another example is a medical clinic with three branches. The client faced an emergency when their data was hacked and encrypted by unknown ransomware. They called Cybrella to set up a defense network that would prevent these attacks from happening in the future. Our Advisory CISO Service was used to design a right-sized security program for the client.
What does the future have in store for Cybrella?
The COVID 19 pandemic has disrupted the entire world, affecting every organization across all industries. Cybrella is no different. With in-person engagement no longer an option, the nimble and agile company started working with partners from other sectors like fintech. We worked as an additional arm to our fintech partners' services portfolio. This enabled fintech partners to provide top-class cybersecurity services along with their regular services.
Marching forward, Cybrella continues to scale our services by searching for and partnering with MSPs (Managed Service Providers) that provide IT managed services, cloud services, and data as backup services. We aim to be the US leader and work with startups and technology companies, delivering them all the expertise required to set up or strengthen their cybersecurity architecture.
