Sensor Fabric is an intelligent network made up of IoT sensors and advanced analytics, delivering predictive insights in real-time for location, condition, utilization, and anomaly detection, and creating a digital model of the supply chain. The sensors allow assets to be tracked across indoor, outdoor, and in-transit touchpoints in the supply chain. Sensor Fabric streams data to the cloud where new insights are synthesized quickly to provide actionable intelligence. As the Cloudleaf solution is cloud-native, clients’ operational costs are drastically reduced while information is stored, processed, and organized in one place.
Cloudleaf’s Sensor Fabric has emerged as the single and unified connection point for supply chain visibility
In addition, Sensor Fabric’s “rule configuration” module helps clients configure all of the rules. For example, if a pharma client has blood plasma that needs to be always at a -40 degree temperature, they need to be able to continuously track the location, temperature, and condition of their assets. To that end, the managed Sensor Fabric sounds the alarm if the blood plasma is sitting in ambient temperature for more or less than the required timespan. The rule configuration can further notify if an asset is moved from one location to another.
Cloudleaf was founded in 2014 by a team of Silicon Valley engineers with backgrounds in radio networks, embedded software, and cloud technologies. Since 2016, Cloudleaf has been gaining momentum as a mature technology, primarily in the industrial manufacturing and pharmaceutical space. Cloudleaf ’s dedicated team has in-depth knowledge of cloud, enterprise software, radio technology, mobile, firmware, and embedded systems and has worked with market leaders. The company is empowering world-leading firms in pharmaceuticals, food, and advanced manufacturing with significant ROI through millions in savings.
For territorial expansions in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region, Cloudleaf has partnered with a global technology innovator recently. The company focuses on further improving its existing offering to serve the rapidly increasing demand for visibility and responsiveness in global supply chains. Cloudleaf also plans to add newer and more effective mesh of sensors and predictive cloud applications that aid clients in delivering unmatched services cost-effectively. From the deployment perspective, the company aims to work with the two-path model with large installations. Cloudleaf plans to recruit value-added resellers to deploy its solution locally. For very large installations, the company plans to work with large vendors such as AT&T or Verizon.
