Leveraging its business acumen and technical expertise, the company helps clients accelerate cloud migration by architecting and managing workloads and applications on AWS. BizCloud Experts today is considered as a leader in developing solutions with serverless computing technologies.
In an interview with CIO Applications, Nagesh Kunamneni, President and CTO of BizCloud Experts, discussed their robust capabilities and services and how they leverage their in-depth industry knowledge and technical expertise to help their clients succeed.
Could you give us a brief overview of BizCloud Experts?
BizCloud Experts is an AWS advanced partner and a woman-owned entity with multiple AWS Service Delivery designations. Being one of the early adopters of AWS Lambda back in 2015- 2016, we have extensive knowledge of the serverless computing platform. As a result, we can help clients seamlessly adopt serverless technologies and design transformational cloud-based solutions. We have expertise in AWS’s eight service delivery skills, including Amazon API Gateway, AWS Database Migration Service, AWS Lambda, AWS web application firewall (WAF), AWS Service Catalog, Amazon EC2 for Microsoft Windows, AWS CloudFormation, and Amazon Connect.
How does BizCloud Experts help clients improve workflows through the implementation of AWS or other Amazon tools?
We are experts in solving problems that are at the intersection of applications and infrastructure. So, we introduce our clients to the concept of infrastructure as code—the automation of infrastructure elements (servers, operating systems, and database connections), management, and provisioning. It enables DevOps teams to develop, deploy, and scale cloud applications faster. For a chain of luxury department stores in the U.S., we deployed AWS Elastic Map Reduce and SageMaker using infrastructure as code. This allowed them to perform advanced data analytics and develop data science models to improve customer experience and accelerate digital transformation.
We understand that cost-efficiency plays a critical role in a company’s success. Our clients can grow applications on-demand and shut those down when they are not being used. Companies need to architect applications that can auto-scale according to the users’ demands.

Please provide our readers with insight into your key offerings?
We migrate legacy .NET or PHP applications to serverless platforms and run those behind AWS API Gateway and AWS Lambda to ensure the security of applications. As a result, our clients can rightly monitor application activity and avoid the hassle of managing multiple servers.
Our other focus area is cloud contact centers. The task requires a lot of serverless knowledge and expertise, and we have it. As such, our efficient team can migrate clients’ existing infrastructure to Amazon Connect and help seamlessly integrate with Amazon Lambda or Amazon Lex. This helps enterprises to provide a dynamic, personalized customer experience and reduce expenditure through the pay-for-use structure.
Not stopping there, we provide a superior AWS Database Migration service that minimizes downtime by eliminating the need to install any additional application or driver. Also, if a customer needs support for managing their application infrastructure and monitoring their backups and recoveries, we effectively do that with our fully managed services platform. More importantly, we use AWS native tools to secure that data.
What are the differentiating factors that give your company a competitive edge?
We take a customer-centric approach to steer clients toward success. Our other major differentiator is the fact that we heavily invest in training our people. Our team consists of certified engineers who go through six to nine months of rigorous training on internal products and services. That’s why they can work as an integral part of our clients’ in-house teams.
We are widely recognized for the quality of our services, and thereby, most of our business happens through referrals. Not just this, we are highly flexible in the number of ways we acquire a contract. We have honesty and integrity imbibed in our work ethics. As a matter of fact, we often start working even before we receive a contract and eventually get the contract based on the quality of our work. More importantly, our team has the capability to deliver outcomes on agile/ flexible contracts approach.
Could you provide our readers with a customer success story?
We worked with a Texas-based startup to help them manage applications, develop and add new functionalities to meet growing customer needs, and lower their operational costs. Engaging with them, our team performed immediate technology and code analysis of production systems, worked with vendors to change access keys, and hired full-time freelancers who could supplement their team. For this client, we could successfully design AWS-based scalable and cost-effective solutions using multiple services like EC2, RDS, IoT, Lambda, and S3. So, they migrated to AWS without any downtime.
Additionally, we collaborated with the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) to guide their senior project team and also organized a DevOps boot camp at The University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas). We successfully launched our SaaS (Software as a Service) product, smart field platform— Fields Manager, a schedule and slot management solution for sports fields, grounds, and facilities. It aims to change the archaic reservation process and utilization of park and recreation divisions’ assets such as lights by allowing administrators to easily add/cancel slot/schedules, collect revenue, and automatically notify users through SMS/Email.
What does the future hold for the company?
The major portion of our revenue today comes from agile and nimble DevOps services. Striding ahead, we are focused on investing more in our two smart platforms: Fields Manager and voice as an interface. We are also expanding in India and have already been certified to perform business transactions there. Our goal is to be in a place where we can help customers allow easy access to their applications irrespective of the channel they operate in, whether it’s mobile, web, or voice.
