Anadea has been recognized by CIO Applications Magazine as the exclusive recipient of “Top 25 Edtech Solution Companies - 2020,” based on our proprietary methodology, reflecting its position in the industry, and is also named among “,” reflecting its broader leadership. This profile has been developed by the CIO Applications research and editorial team based on insights from an interview with Maxim Romashchenko, CEO.
Maxim Romashchenko, CEOWhat are some of the prevalent hurdles in the e-learning sector today?
The idea of remote/online education is not entirely new. However, as opposed to the past when the interchangeability between the classroom and online learning was sparse and mostly occasional, today, students and teachers have no other alternative due to COVID-19. Recorded lectures or live group video calls supported by various collaboration tools are their only resort. At the same time, it is important to note that students have not been able to have in-person interactions with their teachers and peers and now feel the need to connect more effectively. Traditional live sessions fail to address this issue. Beyond interactivity, institutions even struggle with knowledge management systems, lesson planning, scheduling, assessment, and so forth.
How does Anadea help facilitate interactivity and accessibility among students, teachers, and peers? Also, state the key features and benefits of your platform.

During our interactions with clients, we have observed how they are attracted by the “cool” novel technologies that tech giants like Google, Facebook, and Apple continually introduce to the world. We make such technology available to small businesses and startups. In the same vein, we have started incorporating image and voice recognition, machine learning, deep learning, and so forth into the educational software and apps we develop, which opens a plethora of new possibilities around interactive and immersive learning for students.
What is the company’s end-to-end strategy while onboarding clients?
Our area of expertise is the custom development of web and mobile apps. We build from scratch, customize, scale, and modernize all kinds of educational software and e-learning solutions. From initial analysis and design to solving challenging IT issues, testing, and development, we add tremendous value for businesses with custom software development that is supported by an elaborate back-end system and well-planned workflow.
To build software tailored to clients’ individual needs, we engage in a constant dialog with them, which helps us better understand their idea and formulate the best implementation strategy. We keep our clients involved and updated with all the minute developments over the course of the entire project. In addition to discussing features and soliciting feedback from clients, we demonstrate the project's progress with prototypes or intermediate versions. Weekly iterations, a crucial part of our strategy, facilitate more effective testing, and allow us to proactively accommodate alterations suggested by the clients. To further boost the project's efficacy, we encourage the customer to gather the early feedback for the emerging product for what works better and make changes accordingly. While constantly adding new ideas and features, we walk hand in hand with our clients to implement their vision and build cutting-edge software one step at a time.
Could you briefly narrate a customer success story to help readers better understand how they can benefit from your offerings?
A Dutch publisher of school books collaborated with us for the digital transformation of their business. Instead of plainly converting textbooks from paper format to digital, our designers created an interactive interface for the client by integrating a series of projects such as gamification, automated tests, and so forth. This not only made learning fun for students, but they even started taking pleasure in assignments that clubbed simple, engaging games with lessons. The response was so overwhelming that soon, the interface developed by us for the publisher was employed by the entire school management under the Ministry of Education.
Another case involves a German startup that provides medical students and aspirants with exam-focused training for various subjects, including biology. After partnering with us, they have started to receive a better response from their target audience. We have helped make the training more fun, interactive, and effective with our custom e-learning solutions.
What are Anadea’s future goals?
We believe that leveraging effective software solutions for business is critical in a competitive market and, thus, shall continue allowing our clients to benefit from emerging technologies that help uplift the overall experience for both students and teachers. We are using more and more AI and neural networks to understand the patterns in a student’s learning curve and be able to provide insights related to what the student needs to rehearse more and how.
