What are some of the progressive indications in the IT Infrastructure Consulting space this year and how does Alethix plan on adopting and clouting these and evolve?
In today’s world, Infrastructure Consulting focuses on expanding beyond the technical aspects of on-premise infrastructure and cloud to encircle more on how an agency’s infrastructure and operations can help meet their mission needs. Traditional IT infrastructure management is now merging with the Application Development, with the rapid adoption of SaaS and DevSecOps. Alethix is one of the leaders in adopting critical trends in this genre including Serverless computing, DevSecOps, Microservice services architecture, and Zero Trust Security models in the Cloud Native to offer on-demand computing power, along with modern security, data, and application services for developers. We have also made way into trends like AI-driven failure recognition, predictive analytics and other functions related to infrastructure operations. Our primary focus is on integrating the on-premise solutions, cloud deployments, and managed service/SaaS-based integrations to allow agencies to leverage and utilize their investments.
How does Alethix assist in maintaining and implementing a DevSecOps approach in the cloud? How is Alethix equipped to meet the requirements and needs of this particular functionality appropriately?
DevSecOps naturally finds its destination in the cloud. This approach helps in transforming the technical prospect and enables consistent delivery of system functions that well-align with the organizational business needs while the cloud offers automated provisioning and scaling to incorporate application changes. The IT industry is soon pacing toward cloud and DevSecOps and SaaS, and there is a lot of technical know-how in the industry.
Alethix brings experience defining and operationalizing agile methodologies and governance across all phases of the software delivery life-cycle on mission critical programs
What are some of the pain points in the marketplace and how does Alethix mitigate those?
The typical challenges that we keep hearing about in the IT infrastructure landscape relate to ensuring consistent and continuous innovation to fulfill the mission needs of clients. At Alethix, empowerment is the core approach to all our engagements and critical operations. The company has successfully tweaked into its workflow elements of agile development including transparency, open communications, and regular feedback. Alethix’s focus on Mission Innovation Lab (MIL) further provides clients a scalable means of formulating strategies by employing various technology platforms to ensure faster development and delivery of unorthodox solutions. MIL enables organizations to execute and prioritize innovation requests from a mission perspective while coordinating requirements, resources, development, transition and reporting across the organizational mission, higher-level oversight, and other stakeholders.
Our company emphasizes on real-scenario use cases that help simplify the requirements and make the process convenient for business and mission stakeholders. The artefacts maintained by Alethix’s team are its alignment with agile practices to promote further project transparency with the stakeholders.
Another hardship that we see most of our clients facing revolves around initializing of cultural change to facilitate agile solution delivery. Alethix addresses this by providing agile, DevSecOps coaching services and operating models to address the cultural and organizational issues. The provision for instilling security, cloud delivery models, and SaaS models causes another affliction to our clients. We rely on cross-cloud, cloud agnostic security platforms to ensure consistency and security across enterprise-wide assets.
Alethix views it very important for native cloud environments to be protected against active threats, providing coverage from the network and application firewalls, container runtime defense, to host protection. The DevSecOps is automatically deployed to ensure security and stability to applications and data across the development of life-cycle and production. The developers are thus provided with the required speed, and the CISOs receive the controls they want. Our company adopts the emerging trends in the market place, including technology partnerships around Zero Trust, Biometrics, IoT, and GDPR, conducting innovation meetings with customer stakeholders. We are also involved in providing security to the codes, deliverables, and infrastructure in adherence with FISMA, NIST technical publication, and agency-specific security needs.
Could you please cite one or two case studies on how you have enabled clients to overcome hurdles and attain desired outcomes with your innovative array of solutions?
Our company deployed DevSecOps best practices, by directly integrating an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) from the UCIS Office of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This solution helped the clients provided extensive collaboration between development and security and direct integration.
What according to you sets Alethix apart from its competitors in the marketplace?
The understanding that technology is just a part of the IT Solutions lies at the core of Alethix’s workflow. The company hires multiple generalists who well-fit multiple roles both in the technical and soft skills approach. Our focus on developers who truly understand the customer needs scales up to the entire organization and provides a successful delivery of holistic solutions, rather than trying to fill in vast numbers forcefully.
Where do you envision Alethix in the future? What are the future expansion plans for the company?
Alethix, since its conception is going through exponential growth and development. We are continually striving to build and better customer relationships in our core verticals, and we are also working toward augmenting those portfolios within the coming year. Simultaneously, we are collaborating our able technology and teaming partners to broaden our reach to new focus areas. We understand the critical part of Infrastructure Consulting is addressing the key network requirements especially in multi-cloud, SaaS environments. We recognize that the emergence of 5G LTE will shift the landscape of ‘anywhere, anytime’ paradigm.
