The client explained the project could not introduce new technology or licenses. The application needed offline capabilities and must operate even in remote locations. The application had to be user-friendly and self-sustaining so that the client may manage it, even without the help of IT or GIS specialists. Agility Consultants, LLC were able to build the application in Esri using its mobile development platform and desktop application.
Agility Consultants, LLC built the client’s on-paper model within a system on the Esri platform. Now the client can start at the ArcGIS Pro desktop, queue up what they need, and send it to their mobile device, iPad, iPhone, or Android device, which can be taken out into the field. The system can also work offline when wifi and network service isn’t available. The client can collect the on-site information they need on the mobile device, including taking photos and filling out agency forms. Once online, the application automatically sends the user to the portal on the cloud, and uploads the data to the client’s many systems of record.
