What according to you are some of the major pain points perturbing the current mobile device management landscape, and how is AbeTech addressing them?

As mobile devices continue to become prevalent in a work environment, there are three major challenges that an enterprise might face. The first and foremost issue is security. Mobile devices are vulnerable targets for hackers. When compromised, they can provide direct access to the corporate network, sensitive data, passwords, and personal information. While there are constant security patches being applied to manage these risks, administering the influx of various personal devices, simultaneously, is becoming extremely complicated.

Device downtime is the second major roadblock. A complex device ecosystem means employees often have to wait longer for their devices to be properly serviced. This downtime can result in a massive loss of productivity for the workforce. And, the third issue is the additional IT costs associated with managing and maintaining all of the devices connected to an enterprise’s network.

To tackle these challenges, we developed Abe360, an innovative enterprise mobility management (EMM) platform that helps streamline the process of managing various mobile devices while reducing downtime, cost, and security risks.

Give us an in-depth overview of AbeTech’s enterprise mobility management platform and some of its distinct features and functionalities.

Abe360 is our proprietary cloud-based EMM platform that helps simplify the enterprise mobile environment. At its core, Abe360 consists of five different modules, namely AbeEMM, AbeAPPS, AbeSUPPORT, AbeINSIGHT, and AbeACCESS, which are combined into one easy-to-use, integrated platform. With our Abe360 platform, clients are in total control of their entire enterprise mobile device environment.

The AbeEMM module facilitates simple, secure, and streamlined mobile deployments regardless of the device, its form-factor, or operating system.

AbeEMM controls everything from tracking physical assets to managing device lifecycle, including the repair process and security.
On the other hand, using AbeACCESS, AbeTech’s client portal, clients can simplify the procurement of different hardware and software. Each client is offered a unique product catalog, where they can manage and track the orders, and see how their devices are progressing from the time it is purchased until it gets deployed. Along with that, to help clients receive quick and knowledgeable support, the firm has a helpdesk module, AbeSUPPORT. At its core, AbeSUPPORT is built to offer faster response time. Clients can also use the module to track their support tickets.

That being said, application modernization is one of the biggest challenges faced by enterprises. Our AbeAPPS module helps clients simplify this process and modernize business applications in a number of different ways. For example, using AbeAPPS, enterprises can migrate their legacy applications to the cloud. They can also design and develop new features for existing applications. To help organizations make actionable decisions based on real-time data, we have also added a business intelligence tool, AbeINSIGHT, to our Abe360 platform.

To bring out the story, please share a case study where AbeTech helped its client overcome mobility management challenges and attain desired outcomes?

We have helped numerous clients in designing and deploying mobility solutions that effectively align with their goals while optimizing business processes and increasing profitability. A case in point is a large manufacturing company with multiple connected devices across their enterprise.

Due to the multitude of devices used in the manufacturing and supply chain process, the client was experiencing extraordinary IT costs and device downtime and was seeking a mobility management solution that would tackle the issues. With Abe360 platform, the manufacturing company was able to seamlessly reduce the cost, complexity, and downtime associated with managing the mobile devices across their entire enterprise.

How do you cater to the unique needs of each client? Is there a particular approach or strategy followed?

To precisely understand each of our clients’ requirements, we have created a unique methodology called ‘discovery workshop.’ Each client is required to respond to a series of 75 questions about their organization’s mobile device environments, including the information about the total number of devices present across the network, the security protocols followed, and more. Analyzing each of the responses, our team devises a tailored mobile device management strategy that best addresses the clients’ mobility needs and helps them overcome associated hassles.
