The computer defeated Ken Jennings (74-time winner) and Brad Rutter (20-time champion) in a head-to-head competition. More recently, in 2016, the supercomputer captured the media's attention again for creating the trailer of 20th Century Fox's AI thriller film, Morgan. These instances are testimonies to how IBM has been making incredible breakthroughs with modern technologies. While not just winning quizzes and editing movies, Watson's recent cloud version is also noteworthy in preventing cyberattacks. Given these recent accomplishments, it will be interesting to see where the supercomputer takes the cybersecurity arena next.On the other hand, IBM has also attained the top slot in deploying blockchain technology across industries.
