May 2020CIOAPPLICATIONS.COM 19without the need for coding, and with the help of airSlate's extensive BOT and workflow libraries. What are some of the features and functionalities of airSlate?airSlate combines key functionalities, such as mobile web forms, e-signature, document generation, contract negotiation, and no-code Robotic Process Automation (RPA). It allows businesses to create workflows easily without using APIs or writing code and without the need to run your own servers. Through airSlate's RPA layer, customers can initiate a workflow from within Salesforce and perform activities like data extraction, pre-filling that data into an invoice, a web form, or a PDF document, and then automatically routing it to a recipient. Once the data comes back from the customer, airSlate enables its users to extract that data, put it back into Salesforce, or modify it. Further, using airSlate's multi-cloud strategy, our customers can export the data, pre-fill it, and create multi-cloud workflows to coordinate disparate systems of record. For example, your workflow can start in SalesForce and end in NetSuite or Dynamics without ever having to retype any data.Currently, airSlate has hundreds of bots, and 12 different bots working inside Salesforce. Before airSlate, accomplishing tasks like pre-filling data, creating SalesForce records or updating records would require using Application Program Interface (APIs), heavy configuration and deployment costs, and unreliable IT support. Notably, the airSlate workflows are now accessible to non-technical users and take about an hour to set up within the Salesforce environment, instead of weeks or months if you had to do it via API.How does airSlate help users create easy workflows? We understood early on that there was a long trail of individual workflows, every business does things a little differently. It's not fair to ask businesses to modify their processes to fit a software. Instead, customers want software that adapts to their business processes. Typically, other vendors use APIs to configure long-tail workflows. However, the downside of APIs is they are difficult to set up and expensive to configure and deploy.airSlate, on the other hand, is highly configurable. It allows users to configure and deploy specific workflows, without coding and even with little or no technical expertise. The way we accomplish this is by extracting the configuration and deployment into a separate middleware layer which we call BOTs and attach it to the applications, like e-signature and contract negotiation the app layer. This way we achieve maximal flexibility without sacrificing power. We also collaborate with our solution engineers and large Managed Service Providers (MSP) to enable a defined set of services to our clients by remotely monitoring, managing, and updating their technological infrastructure, systems, and services. Can you briefly tell us about your training programs and how it helps airSlate users? Our "airSlate Automation Academy" captures a wide range of topics in automation from basic courses covering business and document processes to expert certifications in automation deployment. Can you share some of your clients' success stories? With airSlate, we have helped multiple small businesses to digitize their workflows. One of the most prominent examples would be a client in a Higher Education field that moved the entire school administration and the Registrar's office onto the airSlate platform. The whole of the registrar's office runs on airSlate now : adding classes, dropping classes, transferring credit. The registrar himself created 52 airSlate workflows without having to bother the IT department for any help.In another instance, a global company reduced its contract negotiation cycle from two weeks to two hours using airSlate. Now they seamlessly perform all the contract negotiations through our product. What does the future hold for the company?Modern businesses have already embarked on a journey of digitizing their workflows, and airSlate is there to facilitate the transition. One of the industries that has been slow to adapt the principles of automation is health care. At this time we are providing free solutions to our healthcare customers to help them automate their workflows and increase efficiency. We envision airSlate as being an integral part of the business continuity initiatives. In the hard times we are facing, our goal is to help other businesses to sustain and adjust to the new normal.
