Over time, however, the idea of machine vision solution has diversified, and so has the use of the technology. Today, machine vision solutions are applied to a variety of industries ranging from medical devices, to pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, all through automotive industries for continuous quality control. According to a recent report by Gartner, the machine vision market is expected to climb the ladder fast and strong in the years to come: "By 2023, the machine vision segment will grow to $10 billion, with at least $900 million coming from industrial scanning solutions." The modified versions of the machine vision solutions will work in tandem with AI, analytics, thermal imaging and other technologies to help companies minimize defects, boost production, and lower the cost of production. At the same time, the machine vision systems will also make the life of the end consumers more interesting by providing them more visibility into the production lifecycle of their favorite products.Going forward, the industry's subject matter experts and researchers are expecting more companies to embrace the benefits of machine vision solutions. In the fast changing paradigm of machine vision, we highlight the most innovative solution providers who are at the vanguard of accelerating the digital transformation of the industry, and insights from the industry's thought leaders.Let us know your thoughts!
