FEBRUARY 2020CIOAPPLICATIONS.COM 19What are your thoughts on evolving technology, and how is it helping organizations to increase their efficiency? Hickey: At no time in human history has information driven the pace of change and created more innovation and progress as fast as what we see happening today. Our focus at Alirrium is helping our clients intelligently optimize how work gets done--by humans working with robots--across the enterprise to unlock an unprecedented level of productivity. By assigning the repetitive and mundane work to the digital workforce, we free organizations to unleash the creativity, passion and talents of their people. This helps increase employee engagement, collaboration and ultimately innovation. In some ways, Alirrium's real goal is to help our clients build a stronger and more resilient company by tapping into these human accelerators, making more time for activities that are uniquely human rather than the mundane tasks that can be completed by robots. What are the factors that are helping you to stay ahead of your competitors?Hickey: In two words - "Focus" and "Mastery". I believe the primary reason Alirrium is a step ahead is simply because we have maintained a razor-sharp focus, building all of our service offerings around the UiPath platform, and helping our clients integrate the digital workforce into their organizations. Mastering a single RPA platform has enabled Alirrium to develop a very tight relationship with UiPath, the clear leader in the RPA enterprise software segment. This unique relationship with UiPath has also enabled us to build some unique sales channels. An example of this is the recent partnership we launched between Alirrium, UiPath and Deltek--Deltek is the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for project-based businesses. Through this partnership, Alirrium offers Deltek prospects and customers UiPath's innovative solution for automating processes within and across Deltek solutions, as well as in-between Deltek and third-party applications. Having access to a large customer base enables Alirrium to develop deep process expertise which helps us drive efficiencies for the Deltek Project Nation. It also enables us to develop an extensive inventory of micro-bots specifically designed for the Deltek applications. We also believe great companies focus their time and effort on building a strong culture centered around a common set of core values. Knowing who you are as an organization helps to attract and retain top talent. At the end of the day, it really is the people you bring into your organization that truly differentiate you. If you are a "bot believer" and feel a connection to our core values, please look me up on LinkedIn. We are growing quickly and want to build a firm around people that share our values. · Service: We believe great companies don't just state customer service is a core value they specifically define it and uphold the standards throughout the entire company to provide a consistently amazing customer service experience. We are a customer-focused team with a natural drive to bring the "wow" to the companies we work with. · Passion: We believe that you always bet on passion. Our employees are energized and motivated to work with cutting-edge technology, and we are obsessed with ensuring this technology is used to create a better, more fulfilling experience for people and the organizations they support.· Personal Growth Mindset: We believe you always look to hire people that are naturally curious and continually invest in themselves by increasing their knowledge and skills. · Teamwork: We believe in the power of the collective genius. Companies succeed in the long run when they are able to create a high-performing work environment based on trust and supported by a servant leader mindset. · Entrepreneurial Spirit: We believe motivation and job satisfaction dramatically increases when there is a personal sense of ownership in the company. We reward team members that take bold actions and contribute to the growth of our company. What does the future hold for your organization?Hickey: RPA technology will continue to advance rapidly, making the process of building a digital workforce easier and easier over the next few years. At some point in the not too distant future we will get to the point where the RPA software is deployed on every computer much like Microsoft Office applications are today. This will require firms like Alirrium to shift away from bot building and implementation services to more strategic services centered around the establishment and deployment of the digital workforce throughout the organization. We also clearly see a merging of artificial intelligence and machine learning with RPA and fully expect the market to get rebranded to Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) at some point in the next few years. Alirrium is committed to investing in emerging technologies, and to bringing on the talent to support this shift. We believe RPA isn't just about streamlining your existing processes, it's also about unleashing the innovation, creativity and passion of your people
