With the increasing sophistication of available digital technologies, paperless offices are growing in prominence. As firms realize the hardships of relying on paper documents that take up space, consume time, and are prone to security risks, they are progressively moving away from paper. A paperless office is not only environmentally friendly and cost-effective, but also improves overall organizational productivity. “Online document management software can increase efficiency, reduce costs, and help businesses go green,” says Boris Shakhnovich, President of PDFfiller. “We offer a comprehensive online document management platform that provides the services of an online editor, cloud storage platform, and a signature request manager, all in one package.”Since 2008, PDFfiller has been allowing customers to fill and send any PDF form online. PDffiller’s simple interface offers both versatility and customization, allowing customers to search, edit, type on, write on, e-sign, and annotate any document format. Once a form is filled, it can be emailed, faxed, printed, saved to a computer or made into a template. In addition, subscribers can request third party signatures, share documents for editing with colleagues, and track document workflow—all allowing for seamless collaboration.
Through PDFfiller, firms can streamline document management, achieve paperless workflow, and save time, energy, and resources better invested in achieving core business objectives. According to Shakhnovich, customers increasingly want to access and manage their documents across a variety of platforms. “We provide online and mobile applications across all platforms from iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux to the cloud. Now it’s also possible to integrate the PDFfiller Application Programming Interface (API) into an app or software platform to optimize signature collection, form filling, and document management workflow,” explains Shakhnovich.
We have applied years of research, analysis, and customer feedback to make PDFfiller the most intuitive and interactive software for optimizing document workflow
In one example of the company’s success in improving workflow efficiency, PDFfiller worked with Saginaw County 70th District Court to develop a better way to obtain judge’s signatures for blood search warrants for drunk drivers. The old system was both disruptive and slow, requiring police officers to request signatures from judges either in person or by fax. With PDFfiller, judges simply add their signature to warrants and email them back to police officers using iPads. Rather than hunting for fax machines or returning to the local police department, police officers can proceed directly to a hospital and obtain a blood sample. In this case, key to PDFfiller’s success in streamlining the County’s legal processes is its simplicity and flexibility.
PDFfiller takes customers’ data security extremely seriously—company data is stored in Amazon S3 data centers with multiple backup locations, instant and uninterrupted data access, and military-level physical security. PDFfiller also complies with national security standards to protect electronic data with physical, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect the physical, network, and process security of any data. “We have applied years of research, analysis, and customer feedback to make PDFfiller the most intuitive and interactive software for optimizing document workflow—building a product known for its quality and responsiveness,” explains Shakhnovich.
PDFfiller aims to be the only platform that businesses need for documentation. “With lots of new integrations, product developments, mobile applications, and powerful analytics, we plan to continue offering our clients a comprehensive, innovative, and unique paperless solution,” concludes Shakhnovich.
